Join mother and daughter duo, Kamala Santos and Claire Ragozzino, for a joyous Mother's Day celebration through good food and storytelling. We invite you to sign up with your mom, bring your kids or come on your own in celebration of the divine mother within us all as we cook, laugh and share a fabulous meal together at the end of the class.

Our menu will include plant-focused gluten-free recipes and will bring in variety of cooking methods and flavors to make a delicious and nourishing brunch. How It Works


This 2.5 hour live cooking class hosted through Zoom is designed to be a playful hands-on experience. Sign up with your mother to cook together, whether you're in the same kitchen or joining in online from different homes. We invite you to bring your kids to the class, or come on your own to celebrate your mother and the divine mother within us all! Only one member of the household needs to enroll. This class is open to all ages and experience levels.

When you sign up, you'll receive instant access the course platform where you’ll find our Brunch recipe ebook, detailed shopping list, and all the information you need to prepare you for the class. We'll send you an email reminder beforehand, then we'll meet in the kitchen to cook together via Zoom as we move through five recipes and conclude around the table together for a shared meal and celebration.

DO I NEED PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH AYURVEDA OR COOKING? 

This class is open to all ages and experience levels, kids are welcome to cook alongside you in the kitchen. We'll show a variety of techniques to make your kitchen experience smoother as we cook together.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE ACCESS TO THE CLASS?

You have lifetime access! You will be able to download the class recordings and all printable materials to watch anytime at your convenience. 

DO I NEED ANY SPECIAL EQUIPMENT?

Here’s what we’ll be using:

  • Stovetop & oven
  • 1 medium saucepan with lid
  • 1 medium sauté pan
  • Muffin pan
  • 2 Small ramekins or 1 small ceramic baking dish
  • Mixing bowls
  • Cooking spoons
  • Cutting board
  • A sharp knife
  • Mortar and pestle or coffee grinder for spice grinding

DO MY MOM AND I BOTH NEED TO SIGN UP?

No, only one person in the household needs to pay to enroll. We welcome your family members and generations to join us in the kitchen during the live class.

Meet Kamala & Claire

Kamala Santos and Claire Ragozzino, mother-daughter duo, have been weaving together yoga, Ayurveda and food throughout their personal and professional life.

Kamala, founder of Soma Doula, has been teaching yoga since the 90's and holds a 1000-hour yoga therapy license. She ran a sustainable seafood restaurant and culinary tourism business in Alaska for 15 years before transitioning into Ayurvedic postpartum and end-of-life doula work.

Claire Ragozzino is a certified yoga instructor and Ayurvedic counselor with a background in holistic nutrition and natural cooking. She is the author of the popular site, Vidya Living, and also writes and photographs for online and print publications surrounding topics of food, culture, and our relationship to nature. Her first book, Living Ayurvedapublished with Roost Books, offers a comprehensive Ayurvedic cookbook and lifestyle guide. Claire has led in-person and online cooking classes for the past decade.
