The Power of Prana:
An Ayurvedic Approach to Pranayama with Larissa Hall Carlson
What if your breath held the key to greater clarity, energy, and emotional balance?
There’s a matrix of energy running through your body—your breath is the key. Known as prāṇa, this subtle life force animates and connects all vital systems of the body, flowing through nāḍīs (energetic channels) to influence how we think, feel, and function. Through prāṇāyāma, the conscious regulation of breath, we learn to nourish and guide this energy toward balance, vitality, and greater resilience.
In this 75-minute immersive workshop, Ayurvedic yoga specialist and mindfulness teacher Larissa Hall Carlson, M.A., will guide you into the subtle yet transformative world of prāṇa. You’ll explore the true nature of prāṇa and learn how to cultivate it through breath practices that support dosha balance, regulate the nervous system, and foster sattva—a calm, clear, and luminous state of being. Through interactive breath practices, mindfulness tools, and expert guidance, you’ll discover how to truly nourish your subtle body. Whether you’re navigating fatigue, overstimulation, or simply seeking more presence in your day-to-day rhythm, this workshop offers accessible, science-informed tools grounded in ancient wisdom.
No prior experience with yoga or pranayama is necessary. Come as you are and leave with practical knowledge and tools you can integrate into your life.
If you can’t join us live, a recording will be available afterward.
